Cass attended a conference in Monterey, California in Sept 2005. Mike joined her at the end of the conference, and we drove up to San Francisco and also spent a night in the Napa Valley.
Napa brought back happy memories of the winelands around Cape Town, particularly when we visited Chimney Rock Winery. This estate has the only Cape Dutch style building in Napa. It was built by Cass’ Dad’s cousin, Stella and her late husband, Hack.
